Love these (but should have ordered a medium!)

I have been looking for a casual non-jeans pair of pants with pockets FOREVER but everyone else only makes yoga pants or pants with teeny-tiny pockets. (What are these, pockets for ants?) I love the fabric and the pockets on these, plus I really wanted a cinched ankle versus those hideous ribbed cuff ankles that almost every other pair of joggers has these days.

The size chart recommended medium for 8-10, which is my size. I'm 5', 150lbs, and I wear a medium in most things. I'm a size 10 in Lucky Brand jeans and size 6 in Levi's, so you know, things vary. Length can be super tricky - pants are almost always too long so I usually try to get a petite unless I know the brand or know the inseam - and if something shrinks, I'm often in trouble with the waist. I decided to size up just to be safe.

When these arrived, I was in LOVE with the style and fabric, but the length was a little long and and waist / butt were a little big. Fortunately, the drawcord waist and the cinched ankle helped. I was torn on immediately returning for a medium or keeping because I really, really wanted to wear them. (I seriously never wear anything but jeans and pajamas.)

In the end, I decided to wash them on hot and dry them on high, because that's how laundry rolls in my house. If you as an item of clothing can't live in the harsh environment of my cleaning methods, then you will never survive! They didn't shrink a lot but it was enough to make a bit of a difference, so I've been wearing them…

My new favorite pair of joggers! A nice lightweight cotton, perfect for Spring and Summer. They run true to size, and don’t get overly baggy as the day goes on. Love them!
