Large fits like a medium

I know these shirts are supposed to have a more fitted look, but this brand new large fits more like a medium that's been washed. I'll probably return it as my XLs fit better out of the bag, and with any shrinking at all, this large would be unwearable.

Overall the shirt fit satisfactorily. The belly area and sleeves on this shirt (L) fit a little loose. And the fabric seems thinner than a regular crew neck tshirt.
