Nice but too big

They were huge when I tried them on. I usually buy XL due to a lot of shrinkage after laundering to get a comfy fit (large). While these did shrink in the length (fair amount), they didn't adequately decrease the waist.

I reordered these again in large, hoping to get it right.

I returned mine. They might be ok for sleeping or just lounging around in, but not for working out. The elastic waistband has no hold and the drawstring is very short. I wear Mack Weldon sweats for the gym and there is no comparison on construction and fit. I was hoping these would be a closer second at a good price, but no dice.
