Hot damn, where does the time go??
This week, Fresh Clean Tees turns six years old, having grown like crazy last year and somehow even crazier this year. What started in 2015 as a fun side hustle for married couple Matthew and Melissa Parvis has become a game-changing brand in the men’s basics space with dozens of equally stoked employees.

Originally, Fresh Clean Tees was a direct-to-customer-only t-shirt subscription — a t-shirt club for men, if you will. Many parts have remained, of course, as we still ship right to your respective doorstep and subscriptions are still a hefty part of our business model. These days, though, we also sell single items as well as a whole lot of other styles. This year alone, we launched polos, tall tees, and socks, and we redesigned our tank tops, pocket tees, long sleeve henleys, hoodies, and even our super-soft t-shirts.
Although we have a packed office now, Fresh Clean Tees has kept, at its core, the same energy that began in that San Diego guest room. We work hard and collaborate constantly, from picking each other’s brains for projects to joining each other for yoga classes to recommending movies and restaurants to trying each other’s drinks at happy hour.

To say it’s been a wild ride is an understatement. The Parvises still love what they do, even though they never expected to run a company of this size, back when they were putting together every order box while watching television or including handwritten thank you notes in each box for their initial customers. But they’ve maintained a tight-knit crew where everyone has a say and everyone digs what they do. It’s definitely helped that our customer base has grown so substantially!
